About Powerduck
Powerduck is a local-first OpenAPI studio built for teams shipping APIs in the AI-coding era.
When an agent finishes a task, "done" is a claim. The spec is how you verify it.
Powerduck runs your OpenAPI spec against the live system — not as a collection you maintain by hand, but as the contract itself. If the agent's implementation drifted from what the spec says, you catch it before review.
- Mock from the spec. The contract drives the mock server, not sample requests typed into a client.
- Verify against the live endpoint. Run the same spec in CI or locally. Drift shows up as a diff, not a surprise in prod.
- Expose the spec as an MCP server. Your AI coding agent reads the contract as context instead of guessing from stale docs.
- Runs on your machine. The YAML lives in your repo, diffs in git, opens in Powerduck instantly. No cloud account, no workspace lock-in, no telemetry.
Postman-style clients were built for humans poking endpoints by hand. Powerduck is built for verifying that what the agent built actually matches what you agreed on.
